Game Engines

The C4 Engine which was developed by Terathon software LLC is a suite of game programming tools for the Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, PS4, and PS3 platforms. The C4 Engine can play sounds stored in the wav format using 16-bit mono or stereo sampling, and audio data can be played from memory or streamed from disk. The engine plays sounds using a custom mixer that provides capabilities such as frequency shifting, Doppler effect, reverb, and atmospheric absorption. some games that use C4  are Tauchfahrt zur Titanic, bridge, utility vehicle simulator 2012 and the list goes on. I personally have never played any of these games but have seen how some the supported features are utilized via youtube.
